The Master and Margarita is among the great neglected Russian Novels, while The Periodic Table is unique in being both great Holocaust literature, and among the few novels which celebrates a trade.
You have posted several years’ reading in the one upload, but I suppose I can always cherrypick.

@illodiini (The Viking - who evidently has a problem with Scottish people, as he considers “Scot” a term of abuse) - I will try to steer my longboat clear of words which present insurmountable challenges to Viking varmints, like “the” & “there” as you obviously suffer from some variant of hippopotomonstrosesquippedaliophobia, or p’haps sesquipedalophobia?

- and anyway, I gave up trying to insist that Finns are not Vikings. Possibly some of them were. We had a Member of Parliament, who had a nickname “The Viking” in his former career. Dumb as a rock and self-destructing nutjob, but that’s beside the point.

Scotophobia is a frowned upon prejudice here on the ‘Insula Sanctorum et Doctorum’ – that’s “The Island of Saints and Scholars” for you lot.
Did you imagine that the great Wittgenstein remained fixed & immutable in his thought?
He actually lived here for several years, in Galway, I think. He had no time for Vikings either. Some pertinent quotations: “Whereof one cannot be nice about Vikings, thereof one must be silent” and “If a Finn could talk, we could not understand him.”
